So, how well does the sander function? Outstanding. The unit is pretty heavy so it is not something you would wish to be utilizing while holding it standing up for very long unless you’ve arms like tree trunks. Nevertheless, for jobs like sanding your wood patio deck, the weight becomes an asset. If you’re utilizing a coarse belt you might wish to pay attention because it’ll start to get hot which cannot be good. Incidentally, I don’t think that to be the cause the spindle broke since I stopped sanding and let it cool down way prior to it got hot. Back off and/or give it a rest if it starts to really feel hot.
