I did initially have concern with the coupler as other people had stated and I wanted to make clear to everybody that once it becomes clear how the coupler works, it’s a very good coupler. I’ve never seen a coupler like this before. I just purchased this model and it is superb. As noted by other people it is created in India. The hose is created in Germany. The item is really well made and obviously well engineered. I do not feel the countries of origin are at all an issue in that the item is being manufactured to a visibly high standard.

The very first time I utilized the gun I couldn’t get the coupler from the zerk fitting and ended up pulling the fitting out from the trunnion on my tractor. Fortunately there were enough threads left in the trunnion so I was able to put in a new fitting. I ended up taking the coupler off of my old lever gun and putting that about the Lincoln. Now it works fine. If it wasn’t for the coupler this would have been an easy five stars.

I took the coupler off the hose and loosened it prior to I installed the hose on the gun. Also, following loading the grease cartridge, I primed the gun before putting on the hose giving several pumps until I started to see liquid appear at the hose fitting. After attaching the hose, I continued priming but it seemed that I wasn’t getting anywhere.
