Great Organizing System!

This cart is a steal for , as indicated by numerous reviews, and I'm going to order another one. It is also available at Costco (online only) for the same price and is available at Target for 0.

Unfortunately Amazon was asking for standard shipping so I opted for their Super Saver free shipping.

Delivery was as follows:
I ordered this cart late on the night of MONDAY, August 2, 2010 (which equated to early morning Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Amazon time) and my order email confirmation indicated the item would be shipped on Monday, August 9 with delivery to be expected between Monday, August 16 and Friday, August 20. I actually received the item early SATURDAY, August 7, at the end of the same week I ordered it.

My point is this:
As I have found on many other occasions, using Amazon's Super Saver free shipping does not result in a delayed shipment, even though the shipping & delivery estimates they give you when you place the order are pretty dismal. For this reason, unless I need something very very quickly, I usually elect Super Saver shipping.

Beyond Expectations
Ordered two of the Seville Carts for use in our church social room. Was surprised how heavy they were (still in box). Strong steel. Easy assembly. Sturdy. And, can they carry a load. Went on line to Seville and purchased the shelf liners. Very inexpensive but a good solid, easy to clean heavy duty plastic material. Sometimes tape is not reliable and hot melt is as well permanent, and velcro is ideal. Local hardware shops had small pieces of velcro for sale, but these 2-inch strips are a lot much more helpful for my purposes.

Forget about using the box to dispense the roll. It’s high quality Velcro though. I used it to keep my couch cushions attached and not falling out of place every time I sit up and back down again.

I use this item for exhibits and displays at work. Utilizing velcro tape with painters tape I can affix items to walls without having damaging the painted wall or leaving adhesive from the tape on any surface. Besides you’ve to love a item.

The adhesive is very strong so for some thing that gets a lot of use like the flap on a duct tape messenger’s bag it holds up nicely to normal use. Just cut off what you need and use it to clasp bags, wallets, notebook covers shut. If you aren’t producing a great deal of bags you may be happier with the dots, but they never held up as well for me.

Utilizing this stuff to secure laptops in service trucks. It holds them so well we’ve had to reduce the amount of velcro we put on them so we can get the laptops off the mount without having breaking them.

Yeah, Great Stuff But ....
Firstly, I love Velcro (design was copied from nature's cocklebur) and use it all the time. I have four items Velcro'd to my treadmill: three remotes and a counter and yes, one IS a universal remote.
This stuff is great, but you need very sharp scissors and I use a couple of tweezers for positioning some of the pieces. Okay, here's a tip that I don't think has been mentioned yet, but your scissors will gum very badly in a short time. Put vegetable oil on the blades and let them sit a while and you will easily be able to remove the gum. (this tip also works on impossible to remove stickers and nearly all adhesives)

Industrial Strength Velcro
I had purchased my dog a life vest and the collar opening was too big and needed adjustment. The vest had Velcro in place, but what was there was too small. I needed to add more of the same type of Velcro, to make the opening adjustable enough so her head would stay in place and her front legs wouldn't become entangled in the head opening. I purchased this product, even though it advised that it not be used in submerged water. To ensure that it would stay in place on the vest, I sewed it in place. It's working fine and doing the job I intended it to do. I wouldn't advise everyone to sew this produce in place ... due to it's constructions it's extremely difficult to sew, but for what I needed it to do, I had no choice. I then followed the directions and allowed the adhesive to dry for 24 hours ... I allowed it to dry for a longer period of time actually. I have had no problems with this product.

Industrial strength name with normal performance
I wasnt super impressed with any differences between this and the regular velcro a normal person would buy. I was using it for a somewhat unusual use but didnt feel that I would need to replace it. If the price is cheaper on the non industrial velcro I would stay with it.

Not worth buying it in Amazon if you have a Walmart next door
I just found that Walmart sells the 2in * 15 ft at .97. If you have a Walmart next door, Amazon is not worth it for this item.

Velcro Industrial Strength
The 2"x15' roll is a great value and has tons-of-uses. I'd like a stronger adhesive on this product as separating the hook from loop will too often pull the adhesive free.

I will tell you that I tried a test just to see how nicely it worked. A table spoon that had been used to eat chili the day prior to and had not been rinsed off. Excellent Product
I could not have been happier with this product and we have found many uses for it too. The cleaner itself is well built, and a little larger than I expected but not too big to work with easily. It does an excellent job cleaning jewelry and old coins, you can use hot water or buy a cleaning solution and it seems to work well with either one. The front timer is easy to read and use, I would like to have found it a little cheaper but overall I am very pleased with this product.

You can use this for more than jewelry. I've used it for sunglasses also. The manual states it can also be used for silverware, other metal objects, car parts? and more.

This unit has heat and a slightly higher heat temperature than others which is great for removing oils and gunk. It also has a higher cleaning power than the other ones in a comparable compact size. The steel tub inside is much better quality and much larger than others I browsed. It also has a plastic tray liner to put your items on before putting them in the cleaner and for easier removal, however that gets tricky when the water is at 149 degrees so I have to lift one side out with a plastic fork so I don't get burned.

For better cleaning you can purchase an ultra sonic cleaning agent which are really pricey for the amount you get. It says you can use just water, if you're going to do that then definitely use the heat setting. It didn't perform that great for me with just water. The seller suggested I use dish-washing soap, I wouldn't try to use anything with lemon though as it may cause damage to some metals over time. I used regular Palmolive dish soap and the results were very good.


The manual is in very broken English and might be a little work to understand at first. It doesnt really say what to expect other than "many tiny bubbles are created when ultrasonic sound is passed through liquid"... so at first I wasn't sure it was even cleaning or working right because all you hear is a buzzing sound and see slight vibrations, but that's the ultra sound working. Nothing dramatic when you're watching.

Draw-backs, if you consider them to be that are you must remove the water and dry the tank after every use, and (something like) if you use if for 3 cycles in a row, or more than 5 minutes of cleaning at one time, you should let it rest for 20 or so minutes. It's supposed to lengthen the life of the item, which makes me wonder how long they really last? Also, the using a plastic fork for the tray is not ideal. The rest of the specifications and features on the product page are pretty much accurate.

Purchased on dec 23 2009 for a dime under eighty eight bucks plus shipping, came out to a dime under a hundred bucks including shipping.

Overall I think this unit is great for cleaning jewelry and getting the dirt and oils out from the fine areas that are hard to get too. I also added an extra soft bristle children's tooth brush and purchased a jewelry polishing cloth on amazon and with the combination of all I can do just as good or better than the jewelry store in regards to cleaning.

THE BEST OF THE BEST
I have used a few of this type of product in the past, mainly to clean jewelry, watches, and parts. You can forget taking jewelry to the shop to be cleaned. This unit will do a better job right in your own home. As a guide to the best jewelry cleaning formula, I will pass on to all who read this evaluation the ingredients given me by the best jewelry manufacturer I know. Use two to four cups of distilled water. Add one-half teaspoon of concentrated dish washing soap and another half teaspoon of pure ammonia. Mix well before turning on the cleaner. I found 360 seconds to be the best time for cleaning jewelry and watches. Try it. You will not believe the results.

It works!
Great for cleaning cartridge cases for reloading ammo. Tried is on jewelry first and it does work! Cases come clean on the inside but it takes a few cycles. Need to work on a proper cleaning mixture though. Excellent for the price.

Ad said that a jewelry cleaner would be included but not the case.
I really hate it when they falsely advertise what's included with a product. I have bought tons of books. cd's and DVD's through Amazon. I think I'll stay away from everything else.

Wire stripper
This tool works great as a stripper and crimper. I have not tried the screw cutter yet but the tool is sturdy enough to make me think it would work great. Longer than what I would like to carry in a tool belt but still a nice tool.

Good Solid Work Tool!
Purchased this to work on the wiring on an old pontoon boat. I had to climb under the console to rewire the radio and instrument panel. The local marina and wired everything incorrectly (how do you wire a speaker into the 12V ground, wire the tach into the radio, etc. and still have a marina to operate?), so I had to rewire it all. Having to strip all the wiring and remove all the quick connectors they used instead of wiring it properly, this tool came in very handy. It was nice to have a tool that would strip the wires correctly and cleanly the first time and then crimp the connectors firmly so I didn't have to send a lot of time under the console trying to connect all those wires.

This is a great addition to any toolbox. I will probably buy a few more to have in my tool chest, on the boat and in my wiring toolbox I use in my job.

Worked just fine for cutting, trimming and stripping wires.
I purchased this because I had an old wire stripper that was a pain to use and didn't really work well on heavier gauge wires. This one cut through the wire well and made it easier to strip wires.

- I personally like wire strippers that are spring loaded; I just haven't found any that are as versatile that have this feature.
- Strip gauge on the tool only gives the gauge for solid strand, not multi. This is a really nitpicky comment, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you won't notice or care.

Great product @ great price
I really like these cutter/strip/crimpers. They seem like good build quality, no over-laping when cutting or crimping they cut & strip great. crimpers work good i am just used to my last pair that had the crimpers @ the end, it is a personal preference i have & i know many don't like crimps @ the end but if i am trying to crimp in a tight spot it can be hard to get these in there! That is why i gave 4 stars not 5! Definite buy again!

Buy Cheap Dorcy 49-1035 Industrial Lantern Rechargeable Xenon Review, I require one that won’t fail on me. Most flashlights of this size have batteries and bulbs held in by springs. Once you drop such a flashlight, either the bulb or the battery becomes intermittent. Also, the lenses and reflectors of most less expensive flashlights aren’t well-sealed, so over time the beam becomes dimmer and much more diffused. While the square edges of the Dorcy Lantern are great for positioning it in most lighting situations, it would also be nice to have a fold-out tripod device for pointing it at an angle and a hook for suspending it from something when the situation requires it.

The light is very bright with a long throw. Nevertheless it is much better for distance lighting beyond a number of yards than close up lighting as the beam is really narrow even though the reflector is really a big diameter. The situation is really a rugged material which will take a beating and is held together with bolts. I’m concerned that the case is not gasketed so I don’t know how that will affect the operation in wet weather. This is a rugged nicely built lantern. I like that it uses a sealed lead acid battery for plenty of power. Make certain you keep it on the charger when not in use as lead acid batteries do not like full discharge. The switch seems to become nicely sealed though. I’m hoping this will last many years as I’m tired of buying flashlights and having them crap out.

I bought this item 4 months ago and it’s always ready to use. I have just put it on recharge even although it was still operating nicely. I just want to be prepared within the situation of a power outage. I find the lantern form factor to become very convenient, the square shape enables for set down and the built in handle makes it very comfortable to use.

So far, so good!
This lantern looks like a twin to one we bought a number of years ago from Sears, except it was much less expensive. We charged it for the requisite number of hours when first receiving it several months ago, and it's been working fine.

Rugged, bright light, narrow beam
This is a rugged well built lantern. I like that it uses a sealed lead acid battery for plenty of power. Make sure you keep it on the charger when not in use as lead acid batteries don't like full discharge. The light is very bright with a long throw. I love this flashlight
I got tired of reaching for flashlights wherein the batteries were dead. This latern not only performs well but holds a charge for months. I bought this item 4 months ago and it is always ready to use. I have just put it on recharge even though it was still operating well. I just want to be ready in the case of a power outage. I find the lantern form factor to be very convenient, the square shape allows for set down and the built in handle makes it very comfortable to use.

The light output of this item is spectacular and serves well for general purpose use. I would highly recommennd this product to anyone needing a general purpose light with good battery life. For the price, it is a great value.

Buy Cheap Lincoln Industrial 1134 16 Ounce Pistol Grease Gun with 18″ Whip Hose and 6″ Rigid Pipe with Free Shipping, Greatest grease gun I’ve owned, and I’ve gone through a few of them so far. This will be the last one I purchase. The quality is top notch. Very smooth operating handle.

I did initially have concern with the coupler as other people had stated and I wanted to make clear to everybody that once it becomes clear how the coupler works, it’s a very good coupler. I’ve never seen a coupler like this before. I just purchased this model and it is superb. As noted by other people it is created in India. The hose is created in Germany. The item is really well made and obviously well engineered. I do not feel the countries of origin are at all an issue in that the item is being manufactured to a visibly high standard.

The very first time I utilized the gun I couldn’t get the coupler from the zerk fitting and ended up pulling the fitting out from the trunnion on my tractor. Fortunately there were enough threads left in the trunnion so I was able to put in a new fitting. I ended up taking the coupler off of my old lever gun and putting that about the Lincoln. Now it works fine. If it wasn’t for the coupler this would have been an easy five stars.

I took the coupler off the hose and loosened it prior to I installed the hose on the gun. Also, following loading the grease cartridge, I primed the gun before putting on the hose giving several pumps until I started to see liquid appear at the hose fitting. After attaching the hose, I continued priming but it seemed that I wasn’t getting anywhere.

No more frustration.
After spending more than 2 hours trying to get a gun from Autozone loaded, I gave up. An online search pointed to Lincoln as one of the better solutions. Amazon had the 1134 delivered for only more than the Autozone gun + 18" hose. Once you open the package, the difference in quality between the two is astounding...the Lincoln probably weighs 50% more than the Autozone gun. The design is much better with the plunger having a lock that will still work once grease gets on it, unlike the Azone version. The Lincoln primed without fuss as well; the usual frustration point for grease guns. From opening the Lincoln's box to putting all the tools away took less than an hour...including assembling/loading gun, having to move the 4Runner up/down the ramps several times to get the drive shaft zerks rotated into an accessible position, and cleanup. Oh, yeah, hit a couple of zerks on the mower during that time as well.

Great tool - worth the money
First grease gun I've ever bought and I wanted it also to be the last.

Having read all the reviews here before I ordered, I was aware of the "issues" with the tight zerk coupler and difficult priming. I experienced neither with my gun. I took the coupler off the hose and loosened it before I installed the hose on the gun. Also, after loading the grease cartridge, I primed the gun before putting on the hose giving several pumps until I started to see liquid appear at the hose fitting. After attaching the hose, I continued priming but it seemed that I wasn't getting anywhere. So, I loosened the bulk fitting on the head slightly and some air was released as it opened. I tightened it back hand tight and continued priming until I could tell the grease was at the coupler. Didn't take long at all and went to work greasing my lawn tractor.

Worked like a champ! A couple of zerks were slightly tight but as someone else mentioned, a firm tug on the coupler and it came right off. No need to tighten the coupler while on the zerk either. I simply held the coupler firmly on the zerk and pumped away. I could feel the pressure this gun was putting out. One hand operation of the gun is a snap. Only trouble I had was getting the coupler on one of the zerks in the steering linkage - no fault of Lincoln as this is a John Deere design flaw so now I'm on the hunt for a different coupler that will sneak into that tight spot. Do highly recommend using the hose instead of the pipe. I didn't even have to try the pipe to figure out it would be much more difficult to use for this application.

Only thing I would do differently if I had to start all over is put some teflon tape around the thread joints since a small amount of grease leaked out between the hose and coupler. Maybe that would've stopped it...?

Go ahead and buy it - its worth the little bit of extra money...

Priming was my biggest issue
The manual is lacking to say the least.

Priming was time consuming. I'm sure there are many ways of doing it, but the air bleeder port was not producing anything but grease, and the gun was not pumping any grease after pumping a 100 times or so. What finally worked was to pull back the plunger, lock it in place, unscrew the head from the tube (the blue part), and use a putty knife to manually force the grease into the head. Once re-assembled, the rest of the air came out fairly easily.]

I wish they would hire someone to write a competent manual, not just the first person they can find who can write in English!

I also had to tighten all the fittings in order to keep the grease from squeezing out between the threads.

Now that it's all finished, I look forward to many years of use.

I just purchased this model and it is excellent.

As noted by others it is made in India. The hose is made in Germany. The product is very well made and obviously well engineered. I do not feel the countries of origin are at all an issue in that the product is being manufactured to a visibly high standard.

As someone else did note, but I feel not as clearly as some may require, the coupler is in fact two pieces and you must loosen the pieces to allow the coupler room to engage and even lock the coupler onto a zerk.

The knurled (etched/ridged/hash patterned) area can simply be held with pliers while a wrench is used to loosen the female treaded 1/8" NPT. Again to some this coupler may appear to be a single forged piece, it is not.
Leave the coupler loosely treaded and adjust as necessary once fitted onto the zerk. You can tighten the coupler onto a zerk and yes, it will not come off if you cannot grip the knurled section well enough, but one need not tighten the coupler on the zerk that much to deliver grease leak free.

Left off one star because the instructions could be much, much better.

Worked well for me
I received from Amazon and put it right to work. I installed a Lithium Cartridge from the top, screwed on the whip hose, primed it, and went to work. I found it locked on the the grease fitting well and pulled off the fitting with a firm tug. It did not lock on like another reviewer found. So far so good. I have owned other Lincoln models and have not had any trouble with them.

Large Display LED Wall Clock Review
We purchased this clock for our bedroom and love it. It was easy to set and the numbers are nice and LARGE so you can read it without glasses on. It is a wall alarm clock so it came with a remote. We don’t use the remote so that my husband HAS to get up out of bed to turn the alarm off.

I’ve used this on 2 different planes & my car and it worked perfectly. No setup required.

The cable actually was faulty. I had this cable and the previous version magsafe airline adaptor with me on two flights and both cases, the cable from this seller was proven to be defective. I’m not sure if it was there fault or not. I went to an apple store and got it swapped out though (thanks apple!), and the one directly from Apple works perfectly.

Apple’s airline adapter is expensive for a small, rather cheaply made (at least it feels that way) item. Using it with a MacBook Pro 17″(June 2009) on my last flight, I started with 90% battery power. Two hours later the battery had slipped to about 80% so it doesn’t stay even. The worst part is the piece that fits into an airplane power port. The cigarette lighter type has to be added to the base power connector (base power seems to be for European airlines mostly). It is easy to pull out the cord and leave the attachment in the plane. I know, I did it and Apple won’t sell just this cheap little cigarette lighter piece – cost another $49. I generally love Apple products and support. This is the exception.

HYDROMETER – ALCOHOL, 0 – 200 PROOF Review
It’s been 6+ months since I bought 2 of these meters but I’m now giving them a good rating. My initial use of these hydrometers was producing readings that seemed inaccurate. I’ve just recently tested them with 190 proof grain alcohol and precisely controlled amounts of water/alcohol mixes. Both are a bit off but are well within the tolerance of what they are needed for. One of the two reads 4 “proofs” high and the other, 6 high. For anyone that might not be familiar with using this type of meter like me, you’ll find that using a graduated cylinder that is taller than the hydrometer very helpful. There must be enough room for the meter to float plus an inch or so. Trying to measure the alcohol content from the liquor bottle may not be the best method to get an accurate readying, as sensible as that may seem on the outset. You may also find that removing the contaminants from the test liquid would provide better results. As for the hydrometers, they are a good value and work well if you can validate them yourself and can accept a few points of tolerance in the readings. Don’t buy one, buy two.

Thermaltake Mobile Fan II External USB Cooling Fan Review
I use this to cool my PowerBook G4. The laptop is up on a simple stand, but it runs pretty hot; the CPU often runs up to 142+ degrees F, at which point the noisy internal fans turn on. With the little TT fan blowing across the keyboard area, the PowerBook seldom reaches 140 degrees, and the internal fans almost never kick in. The TT fan is nearly silent at its lowest levels, very quiet at the level I use (~halfway up), and not terribly loud even at its highest setting. It’s definitely got a DIY-geeky look, but at least it’s not geek-bling with pulsing LEDs or anything. My one big knock against it is its lack of an off switch. Seems like it would have been simple enough to have it click off when you turn it all the way down; as it is, I have to unplug it at the end of the day.

I got this to get a little airflow for a cramped computer desk where the chassis is artistically put in its own wooden coffin. This fan works beautifully. Does what it needs to and the simple design gives the feeling that it’s made to work. My only complaint is that there is no “off”. There’s basically high, medium and low. Given that it’s not all that loud, it’s not a problem. I ended up putting another one inside the chassis to keep the air flowing after the machine has been shut off. The box cools quicker, preserving the life of all the parts. I love these things.

I house my PC inside a 15″ wide base cabinet below the workspace in my basement-level office. I have to keep the cabinet door closed (locked actually) to keep the children from turning the unit off and on. Unfortunately, the inside of the cabinet gets pretty hot from the PC due to the lack of circulation. I needed an inexpensive, convenient, and safe way to keep the cabinet cool. I purchased the Thermaltake Desktop USB Cooling Fan, cut a 3.5″ square opening on the side of the cabinet, and installed the fan facing out of the openning to draw the warm air out. This solution worked perfectly! I can adjust the Thermaltake fan speed up if I’m running CPU intensive applications – like games or watching a DVD – to draw more air. The fan is very quite – unnoticable really, and the fan grill keeps little fingers from touching the fan blade. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this little fan to cool an HD-DVR and Amplifier, both of which get very warm when in operation. My cabinet has glass doors which I had to open when in use so as not to overheat the equipment. I cut a small square opening in the back of my entertainment cabinet just large enough to wedge this little unit in. I cut a few other ventilation slots along the bottom of the rear cabinet and connected the USB cord to an open slot on the DVR. The fan has an adjustment for how fast the blades circulate air. Even at half speed, the unit kept both devices cool with the doors closed. Its a pretty quite fan, but at full crank is fairly noticeable which is why I keep it running at half speed.

The fan has adjustable speed using a easy turn knob, very quite at mid speed. I use it to pull air over my DSL router, and the router’s overheating resets, have stopped. Great metal wire housing supporting the fan. Came with 3 feet of USB cable. Would buy again.

Hot air is sucked in from the bottom of the laptop and exhausted through the opening on the rear. Three green LED indicates the working status of the three fans. The laptop cooler comes with an On/Off switch on the front of the cooler. You don’t need to unplug the USB plug every time you want to turn the fans on or off.

I have a T23 Thinkpad. It works great! The only problem was that it got warm after an hour’s use. I thought I would try this fan to see if it would work. Because of the low price I thought there was a catch. Because it plugs into a usb port I didn’t expect it to be very efficient. I also thought it would be loud. I was wrong. This keeps my thinkpad from getting warm and it is surprisingly quiet. The only drawback is that it is curved and opened on the bottom so it does not sit on your lap comfortably. But if you get a little lapdesk there is no problem.

The product does a great job of cooling a laptop and is VERY quiet. It is perfect for use on furniture, but if you use it on your lap, as I do, you need something under it. I used a cutting board. The construction is flimsy, the wiring open on the bottom, and I managed to break the on/off switch after only 6 weeks of toteing it around in a case with my laptop. Leave it in one location, like on a desktop, and it should give years of service. If you are very careful, it can stand up to travel. Because of the construction issues, I replaced it with a Targus PA28U. This unit is more durable, the wiring fully enclosed, and cools just as well. It is not as quiet and is more expensive. It sits on a desktop or lap without additional support.

I bought this product because my laptops fan constantly kept coming on while i worked on long projects. i know that every time your laptop fan comes on the cpu is losing life because its starting to overheat. well i decided to pick up a fan. this one works great. i never hear my laptop fan come on. it makes the same amount of noise as the laptop fan does but i can feel the cold air coming from underneath it. it stands your laptop up as well and now my wrist are feeling much better. by standing up it allows the fan to pull in air around the laptop which is need instead of just spinning air in place from the small fans. this is a great product and was worth every dollar.

I own several different pads and this one is the best made of them all and the least expensive. This is a real good buy and is metal, which I believe are the best pads. The problem with metal is their open back which needs a flat hard surface to work on, I use mine on a desk so no problem for me.Good,good deal on a truly well made cooling pad.

I’ve had this product for a few weeks and so far it’s great. The fans are so quiet I can’t even tell if they’re on, and, even though I was worried that the pad would elevate my laptop too far above my desk, the before-and-after difference is miniscule. To answer the question about whether this product is metal or plastic, I originally thought it was metal (sure looks like it) but when I put a refrigerator magnet against the pad, it didn’t stick, so it must be made of plastic. My laptop extends past the edges of the pad by an inch on both sides, but it’s not a problem – there are no aesthetic issues with that whatsoever. I rarely, if ever, work with my laptop actually in my lap, so using this pad to cool my computer in that situation is not an issue. So far, great product!

I highly recommend this laptop cooler for many reasons and 1 of them is that is has a really big fan which cools the laptops in a few a very short period of time. You may have seen other laptop coolers with 3 fans but I doubt they are as strong as the one gigantic fan this cooler offers. I would recommend it for people that don’t move the laptop around due to it might be a bit big or heavy to carry around.

I looked at notebook coolers for awhile. I decided on this one after lots of research. I love this thing! It is quiet and does a excellent job of keeping the computer cool. The computer fan was on high all the time and now it is hardly ever on, even when it does kick on I just turn up the notebook cooler to high and it does the trick. I would say this will extend the life of my notebook which was so hot at times. It is a great product.

I used the older twin fan cooler from Antec prior to buying this, and it was loud and didn’t do a good job of cooling my computer. My computer burnt up the GPU and CPU in December while using the old cooler, and that prompted me to spend the money for the new one. The Unbeatable Notebook Cooler 200 is quieter, larger (in my case that’s a good thing), and much more effective. My lap actually gets cold using the thing, and I’ve noticed that since my computer has been repaired and I’m using the new cooler the internal cooling fan hardly ever kicks into that higher setting, even during graphic intensive games! Gotta love that.

This cooler is unbelievable. Talk about a HUGE fan! I researched laptop coolers for my XBOX 360, because the cooling fans made to plug into the back of the system are a fire hazard. The 360 generates an incredible amount of heat, especially if kept in an entertainment center cabinet like mine is. The Antec unbeatable notebook cooler does an excellent job of drawing the heat out of the cabinet, plugs right into the USB on the front of the system, and the blue LED looks cool. It is so quiet, you can hardly hear it when it is on high and you are an inch away from it! All I had to do is put something under the front feet to level it, because since it is intended for a laptop, it is angled. It would have been nice if that was adjustable, and if the fan itself had an on-off switch (only the LED operates on the switch), but otherwise it is an outstanding product, well worth the money. No more fear of the dreaded RROD!

The Tri-Angle Sharpmaker includes two sets of high alumina ceramic stones: A pair of medium-grit (brown) stones for aggressive sharpening and a set of fine (white) stones for professional grade finishing. The stones are triangular for sharpening Plainedges on the flat sides and SpyderEdges (serrations) on the corners. Included is a set of brass safety rods protecting the users hands while sharpening. All components snap into the self-contained ABS plastic base and lid — ready to travel with you. Die-cut into the base are keyed slots and holes fitted for the stones. They accurately set the stone’s sharpening angle at a 30° (15° each side) or 40° (20° each side) for knives and a 12.5° scissor setting. I recently purchased the Spyderco Sharpmaker and without a doubt it is one of the easiest sharpening systems to use. Previously, I used a flat stone coated with oil. However, with the recent purchase of some serrated knives I needed a system to sharpen them. The Sharpmaker does it all: plain blades, serrated blades, and more. With the video and instructions it is easy to use. One last testimonial concerning the Sharpmaker, is a old Buck knife that I had buried in the drawer. I never liked the edge on the knife; never could get it sharp. The knife is now on my dresser, sharp as a razor and ready to go!

Before buying the Spyderco 204 I researched sharpeners because I wanted to get one that was easy to use but would put a long-lasting edge on kitchen, hunting, pocket knives. Most sharpeners are more trouble to operate than they are worth, or don’t do a decent job, or worse, damage knives in the process. The Spyderco was recommended as being the easiest to use for the best results. It is simple to set up and use and comes with a video that shows you exactly how to operate it which is a big help. It sharpens my knives very effectively. Best of all, the plastic base that came with mine was defective, so I sent it back and the company replaced the entire case promptly.

The Sharpmaker is well named. I have tried very hard to make my Lansky Deluxe system work but only got fair results at best. I used the Sharpmaker on a knife I had very carefully sharpened on the Lansky and saw an immediate and profound improvement. I am an engineer and was drawn to the Lansky angle control system believing that I would have best control with this system. However, in practice, the Sharpmaker gives outstanding results quickly and easily. You literally will be able to get your knives sharper than when they were new and unused. Very few products deliver on the level of the Sharpmaker. Great product. Sharpens more than just knives as well. Watch the DVD as soon as you get it. Then you’ll want to sharpen everything in the house. You’ll be hooked.

Spyderco sharpener and hone is a wonderful tool. I own several stones and a couple of other sharpening gadgets but nothing has put an edge on my knives like the Spyderco. Like many I am sure, I was a skeptic, but after following the instructional video my fishing and kitchen knives are now razor sharp, much sharper than new. Thanks so much.
