Sometimes tape is not reliable and hot melt is as well permanent, and velcro is ideal. Local hardware shops had small pieces of velcro for sale, but these 2-inch strips are a lot much more helpful for my purposes.
Forget about using the box to dispense the roll. It’s high quality Velcro though. I used it to keep my couch cushions attached and not falling out of place every time I sit up and back down again.
I use this item for exhibits and displays at work. Utilizing velcro tape with painters tape I can affix items to walls without having damaging the painted wall or leaving adhesive from the tape on any surface. Besides you’ve to love a item.
The adhesive is very strong so for some thing that gets a lot of use like the flap on a duct tape messenger’s bag it holds up nicely to normal use. Just cut off what you need and use it to clasp bags, wallets, notebook covers shut. If you aren’t producing a great deal of bags you may be happier with the dots, but they never held up as well for me.
Utilizing this stuff to secure laptops in service trucks. It holds them so well we’ve had to reduce the amount of velcro we put on them so we can get the laptops off the mount without having breaking them.
I bought this velcro tape with a bit of skepticism as to where the industrial strength moto will hold, as we were hanging really big and heavy banners at our organization stand in a fair.

Yeah, Great Stuff But ....
Firstly, I love Velcro (design was copied from nature's cocklebur) and use it all the time. I have four items Velcro'd to my treadmill: three remotes and a counter and yes, one IS a universal remote.
This stuff is great, but you need very sharp scissors and I use a couple of tweezers for positioning some of the pieces. Okay, here's a tip that I don't think has been mentioned yet, but your scissors will gum very badly in a short time. Put vegetable oil on the blades and let them sit a while and you will easily be able to remove the gum. (this tip also works on impossible to remove stickers and nearly all adhesives)
Industrial Strength Velcro
I had purchased my dog a life vest and the collar opening was too big and needed adjustment. The vest had Velcro in place, but what was there was too small. I needed to add more of the same type of Velcro, to make the opening adjustable enough so her head would stay in place and her front legs wouldn't become entangled in the head opening. I purchased this product, even though it advised that it not be used in submerged water. To ensure that it would stay in place on the vest, I sewed it in place. It's working fine and doing the job I intended it to do. I wouldn't advise everyone to sew this produce in place ... due to it's constructions it's extremely difficult to sew, but for what I needed it to do, I had no choice. I then followed the directions and allowed the adhesive to dry for 24 hours ... I allowed it to dry for a longer period of time actually. I have had no problems with this product.
Industrial strength name with normal performance
I wasnt super impressed with any differences between this and the regular velcro a normal person would buy. I was using it for a somewhat unusual use but didnt feel that I would need to replace it. If the price is cheaper on the non industrial velcro I would stay with it.
Not worth buying it in Amazon if you have a Walmart next door
I just found that Walmart sells the 2in * 15 ft at .97. If you have a Walmart next door, Amazon is not worth it for this item.
Velcro Industrial Strength
The 2"x15' roll is a great value and has tons-of-uses. I'd like a stronger adhesive on this product as separating the hook from loop will too often pull the adhesive free.
